As a consultant it’s my job to: provide thoughtful feedback, give helpful resources to the team, help solve problems, pitch new ideas / concepts, provide extensive design documents, analytical analysis of a product, provide a mock review, identify core design issues along with possible solutions backed with research, and do this all through the lens of understanding the timely game design / development process.

NDA

I have done analysis and extensive game design feedback for several unannounced titles. My work mainly consists of a critique from a holistic designers point of view, one that considers each aspect of the game’s experience and drills down into spots which are detracting from it’s better parts. This sort of work is focused on games that are in early or mid development.

Disney - Rhythm Game

Led a team of game developers on a project for the Imagineers at Disney to replicate the feeling of being at the parks through a co-op rhythm game made for the whole family.

Riot Games - Mystery in Singapore ARG

Skills: Pitching, Rapid Prototyping, Social Game Design, Large Scale Systems

Pitched and prototyped an ARG for Riot Games. The ARG would take place in Singapore and be a 4 day experience where players went on quests with each other, digitally and physically.

General Motors - Chevy Trail

Skills: Project Management, Design Leadership, Experimental In-Person Interactions

Led a team of designers and developers for a digital/physical adventure game for people to play through at fairs. Worked with the client to find solutions to make it engaging.

Allergan - Trivia Game

Led a team of designers and developers to create two bespoke trivia games for doctors to play. I worked closely with the client to ensure legal review and scientific accuracy.

HBO - Game of Thrones ARG

Skills: Pitching, Design Direction, Social Game Design

Pitched a large scale ARG that disrupted usual NYC life with mysterious sightings and online mysteries and clues. This direction was then followed through after I left the company and resulted in this AR (not ARG) experience with some in person elements, as well as this event.

Unfinished Live - Interactive Installation

Skills: Design Direction, Pitching, Experimental In-Person Interactions

Provided design direction for an award winning interactive component to an installation at The Shed in NY. I worked a development team I sourced and gave them design direction to develop it with compelling lidar technology. The end resulting experience managed to accomplish the goals set by the client and larger creative team.
