I am currently a mid-level Technical Game Designer at ArenaNet working on an NDA project.
I have 6+ years of professional experience as a game designer and 10+ total years of experience making / designing games.
In that time I have worked and and consulted on award winning games like Guild Wars 2 and Dispatch, while also creating and pitching highly experimental interactive works for companies that include Disney, HBO, Google Stadia, etc.
For my BFA, I was trained in the most modern and forward thinking game development practices for both Indie and AAA at the NYU Game Center.
I have taken what I learned at NYU, and throughout my career, then successfully applied it to revitalize old design philosophies and create deeper/renewed player engagement, correctly identify and avoided design choices which result in overblown scope, and identify interesting new pathways a game development team could explore which helped to make successful experiences.
